Two John Carpenter-Themed Board Games Arriving This Fall

As Jack Burton might say, “Yessir, the check is in the mail.”

GAME NIGHT is bound to get even more interesting this fall with the arrival of two new table-top adventures based on films by director John Carpenter.

Big Trouble in Little China: The Game presents a cooperative scenario wherein players—in the roles of Jack Burton, Egg Shen, Gracie Law and the rest of the gang—must work together in a series of quests to ultimately defeat the evil Lo Pan.

The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31, on the other hand, sounds more like an every-man-for-himself kind of situation. According to the creators, “the game has been designed to be as authentically cinematic as possible, ensuring that the players will experience the paranoia and tension that makes the film so great.”

Oh, man, I can hardly wait for that blood test scene!
