This blazing addition to the company’s Godzilla line is a thing of terrible beauty.

LAST YEAR, NECA released a Godzilla figure based on the snarling, mean-looking version of Big G we saw in 2001’s epic Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. Next month, the company will release a new variation on that figure they call 2001 Godzilla Atomic Blast.

And as you can see here, the name speaks for itself. The spectacular effect is created by the inclusion of a full-length Blast element and clever paint job that seems to illuminate the figure. Like the previous 2001 figure, this new one is more than 12 inches long from head-to-tail, and stands over 6 inches tall. There are more than 30 points of articulation—including the tail—and the Blast element is removable.

Though why on earth would anybody want to do that? For more information visit NECAOnline.
